3. DEFINITIONS

3.1 Ordering is the action of booking a collection via our Website, over the telephone or by electronic mail.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the proprietor or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on our Website. All such liberties are reserved.

You may print off a copy and may download sections of any page(s) from our site for your reference. You may attract the attention of others within your community to material published on our site.

You must not alter the paper or digital replicas of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way. You must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences, or graphics individually from any accompanying text.

Our position (and that of any recognised contributors) as the authors of material on our site must consistently be recognised.

You must not exploit any part of the materials on our site for commercial objectives without acquiring a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

Suppose you print off, copy or download any portion of our site in violation of these terms of use. In that case, your privilege to use our site will cease immediately. You must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

5. LIABILITY

5.1 The client comprehends an inherent risk in cleaning, and clothing and related items can get lost or damaged. The Ironing Shop will do its best to ensure situations like this do not transpire. We will work with the customer to rectify the concern if they happen. Without prejudice to the previous, and insofar as allowed under applicable mandatory law, Our service liability shall in no event surpass an amount of 15 times the price of cleaning the item.

5.2 The customer is accountable for removing collar stiffeners and cuff links from shirts and ensuring empty pockets. The client is also responsible for removing any personal articles.

5.3 The Customer is responsible for ensuring all items given for a service wash can be washed and tumble dried.

5.4 Complaints must be received within 48 hours of delivery. Before any compensation claim can be processed for any damage to an item(s), the cleaning staff must be allowed to collect the item(s) and attempt to reverse the damage.

5.5 The Ironing Shop will hold the customer’s items for no longer than three months. After three months, The Ironing Shop will give the customer’s things to charity.

5.6 The Ironing Shop is not accountable for any damage/shrinkage of counterfeit items. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects of items causing bleeding, shrinking, fading, or otherwise becoming altered or worn by the normal wash-and-dry laundry process. We will take reasonable precautions against known problems.

5.7 Care Label Instructions
The Ironing Shop will clean garments in accordance with care label instructions. If there is no label, we may have to get special instructions. However, we are sorry, but we can’t be held responsible for inherent weaknesses in materials and fabrics that may result in damage or for colour fading, colour running or shrinkage. Please note that care labels only apply to the item material. They do not cover any motifs, logos or add-ons such as buttons or zips.

6. COMPLAINTS

6.1 You agree to communicate any complaints to us and not the driver. You agree to comply with our complaint and other policies on our Website, which may vary from time to time.

6.2 If you have any complaints, don’t hesitate to contact us via the contact details shown on our Website or write to our address shown at the start of these terms and conditions.

7. TRANSFER

7.1 We may transfer all or part of our rights or duties under this agreement, provided we take reasonable steps to ensure that your rights are not prejudiced. As this agreement is personal to you, you may not transfer any of your rights or duties under it without our prior written consent.

8. PRICES

Prices include any applicable VAT or other sales tax unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

9. CARD PAYMENTS AND FRAUD

9.1 Payment for the service must be received before the delivery of an order.
9.2 We reserve the right to delay delivery of clothes should payment have not been received due to a card payment failing.
9.3 Where evidence reasonably suggests initial payment was made fraudulently, we reserve the right to consider the payment as not being received.
9.4 Where evidence reasonably suggests that payment may have been made fraudulently, the company reserves the right to request a bank transfer instead of card payment.
